Isonicotinic-acid and Streptomycin combine Treatment on an Atypical Tuberculous Meningitis case

Abstract
|
|
|
I¢¥ experienced an atypical tuberculous meningitis case which complicated blindness and
severe delirium, but treated with Isonicotinic acid 600 §· and hydrostreptomycin 1 gm
daily a year at first stage 0.5 gm intrathecal and 3.5 gm intramuscularly daily but
suddenly happened bleeding in the spinal fluid after that I gave INAH by mouth and
hydrostreptomycin only intramuscularly 3 gm daily.
After 3 months treatment in the hospital, the patient got good result, so that he
continued the same treatment about 7 months at his home. At present moment he can
see all sight and work as before he got the tuberculous meningitis.
In my experiences it is first time treated severe tuberculous miningitis with above
wonderful drugs. He is still continuing and take INAH 300 mg daily by mouth even he
is more even he is more healthy than before he had tuberculous miningitis.
